About cemtpp
The Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy, in Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, is a focal point for the study of economic, environmental, political, technological and other factors that affect the global production, transportation and consumption of energy. It builds upon the School's strengths in area studies (especially the Middle East, Russia and the Caspian Region), international economics, public policy and quantitative techniques for analyzing policy and management. In addition, the Center draws on resources elsewhere at Columbia, including the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Business and Law Schools. The Center also benefits from Columbia's location in New York, the center of global finance and media.
